MELAKA, August 16 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said Saturday he will begin announcing key changes on Monday, with further measures planned before and during Budget 2027 in October.
Anwar said the changes will involve government policies, Pakatan Harapan and cooperation within the unity government. He acknowledged weaknesses in communicating government policies.
Despite what he described as strong economic performance. Anwar also said his proposal to repeal the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 will go before Cabinet next Wednesday.
Separately, he rejected claims of strained ties with Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, saying political differences should be resolved through dialogue.
