GEORGE TOWN, August 16 — Motorists using Jalan Tun Dr Awang should expect intermittent partial night lane closures from Aug 17 to Sept 16 for Penang Mutiara Line LRT works.
The 30-day arrangement will operate between 10pm and 5am, affecting the second lane from the left between Masjid Al-Ittifaq and Bukit Jambul Complex towards KOMTAR.
Other lanes will remain open throughout the works. The closure will facilitate utility relocation under the Mutiara Line CMC1 package.
Motorists are advised to follow directional signs and instructions from traffic personnel deployed along the affected stretch.
