GEORGE TOWN, August 17 — Motorists should expect intermittent night lane closures along Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway and Jalan Sungai Pinang until Oct 8 as Penang Mutiara Line LRT works continue.
The 60-day arrangement operates from midnight to 6am, affecting the motorcycle and leftmost lanes near the Indah Water Konsortium sewage pond towards Jalan Sungai Pinang.
The leftmost and middle lanes of Jalan Sungai Pinang towards KOMTAR are also affected, while other lanes remain open.
The closures facilitate utility relocation under the Mutiara Line CMC1 package. Motorists are advised to follow traffic signs and on-site instructions.
