GEORGE TOWN, August 19 — Motorists should expect intermittent night lane closures along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and Jalan Sungai Dua until Oct 31 as preliminary works for the Penang Mutiara Line LRT continue.
The 74-day arrangement operates from 10pm to 5am. Affected sections include lanes between JPJ Batu Uban and the Sunny Point intersection in both KOMTAR and Bayan Lepas directions.
As well as the right lane near the Jalan Sungai Dua-Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah intersection by Universiti Sains Malaysia. Other lanes will remain open while utility relocation works are carried out.
