KUALA LUMPUR, August 27 — Schneider Electric is urging businesses across East Asia to adopt smarter HVAC systems as rising temperatures, AI expansion and data centre growth.
Increase cooling and electricity demand. The company said connected controls, real-time monitoring and AI can optimise cooling based on actual demand, reducing energy consumption and equipment strain.
Schneider Electric Malaysia President Eugene Quah said smarter HVAC could support efficiency as Malaysia attracts investment in data centres and advanced industries.
The company also introduced its Altivar HVAC ATH200 and ATH600 variable speed drives and Active Harmonic Filter solutions at its East Asia Partners Event.
