GEORGE TOWN, August 28 — Wawasan Open University (WOU) will host the 4th International Conference on Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics (ICiMR 2026) on Nov 3 and 4 at its Penang campus.
The hybrid conference will bring together researchers, academics, engineers and industry practitioners to explore AI, robotics, automation, digital twins and smart manufacturing.
WOU said hosting the conference in Penang would help connect international research with the state’s established electrical and electronics and manufacturing ecosystem.
The programme will feature keynotes, industry roundtables, technical talks and research presentations. Researchers and industry professionals can submit papers and case studies until Oct 1.
