GEORGE TOWN, August 29 — Motorists using Jalan Tun Dr Awang face intermittent partial night lane closures until Oct 6 for preliminary works on Penang’s Mutiara Line LRT project.
The closures, which began Aug 24, are implemented from 10pm to 5am. The rightmost lanes between Amari SPICE Hotel and Hunza Properties are affected in both directions towards KOMTAR and Bayan Lepas, while other lanes remain open.
The traffic arrangement is required for utility relocation works under the Mutiara Line CMC1 package. Motorists are advised to follow traffic signs and instructions from personnel at the site.
