GEORGE TOWN, August 30 — Lighting facilities at Lebuh Relau 1 Neighbourhood Park have been upgraded to provide residents with a safer and more comfortable environment for evening activities.
Paya Terubong assemblyman Wong Hon Wai said improved lighting would support exercise, walking, recreation and community gatherings after dark.
During a visit to the park, Wong also presented aerobics uniforms to two local groups involving more than 100 participants. He said community improvements need not involve large projects.
