KUALA LUMPUR, September 1 — Xiaomi has launched its REDMI Note 17 Series in Malaysia, introducing four smartphones led by the first REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G.
The Pro Max features a 10,000mAh battery, 100W fast charging and Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, while both Pro models offer IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection.
Xiaomi said the lineup will receive up to six years of security updates. The launch comes as global REDMI Note Series shipments surpass 500 million units.
Pre-orders are available at Xiaomi stores until Sept 2, followed by online pre-orders through Sept 4.
