GEORGE TOWN, September 2 — Motorists traveling towards George Town on the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway will face temporary overnight road closures and traffic diversions from Sept 7 to 9.
IJM Land said the affected section, from the Jalan Tunku Kudin junction to Jalan Ahmad Nor, will be closed between 10pm and 5am each night.
The temporary closure is required to facilitate ongoing construction of an elevated U-turn. The new infrastructure is intended to complement the Air Itam Bypass and improve traffic flow along the expressway.
Motorists are advised to plan their journeys in advance, follow temporary road signs and exercise caution when travelling through the affected area.
IJM Land said further traffic updates would be issued as construction progresses.
