GEORGE TOWN, September 2 — Police are seeking a 34-year-old man as a witness in a Penang High Court trial involving an offence under the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
Southwest district police identified the witness as Abu Ubaidah Jamalludin. He is required to appear at the court at 9 a.m. on Sept 4.
Police urged the witness or anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact investigating officer Insp Norazean Baharin at 019-4415166 or the nearest police station.
Southwest district police chief ACP Anuwal Ab Wahab issued the statement Tuesday.
