KUALA LUMPUR, September 2 — Xiaomi has previewed its upcoming REDMI Note 17 Series, positioning long-term smartphone reliability at the centre of its “Built for Years” philosophy.
The series features TÜV SÜD-certified battery, drop and water resistance, alongside a new silicon-carbon battery rated for 1,600 charging cycles with over 80% capacity retention.
Xiaomi said selected models will receive up to six years of battery longevity, security patches and sustained smoothness support, depending on market.
The REDMI Note 17 Series will also introduce the lineup’s first Pro Max model as Xiaomi strengthens durability across its mid-range smartphones.
