GEORGE TOWN, September 4 — The Childhood Cancer Caregiver Support Organization will hold a childhood cancer awareness talk and charity programme at Royale Chulan Penang on Sept 6.
The free Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu talk runs from 2.30pm to 5pm, featuring paediatric haematology and oncology specialists Dr Ang Ming Ping and Dr Shoba Anne Thomas.
Alongside caregivers and CRISO representatives. Sessions will cover childhood cancer symptoms, treatment and challenges faced by families.
A charity haircut programme will run from 10am to 6pm, with donations supporting CRISO. Visitors can also donate suitable long hair to Locks of Hope or support a charity book sale.
