PERAI, September 6 — SkyGate NHJ Technology has opened a 36,000-square-foot precision manufacturing facility in Penang’s Perai Free Industrial Zone.
The facility features horizontal and 5-axis CNC machining technologies to support digitalised and automated production. Established in 2025, the company is a joint venture.
Involving Penang-based SkyGate Solutions and Singapore-based New Jin Hai. Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the investment could support technology transfer, localisation and new industrial capabilities.
SkyGate NHJ Technology said it plans to create high-skilled jobs, strengthen local supply chains and support precision manufacturing across the semiconductor, electronics, medical, optical and aerospace sectors.
