GEORGE TOWN, September 9 — Police are seeking the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run at the parking area of Block 42, Flat Desa Green, Solok Slim.
Police said an 81-year-old woman had exited a GrabCar and fallen on the road at about 2.20pm before being struck by a suspected car that continued driving without stopping.
She suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 2.48pm. The driver had not lodged a police report as of the latest update.
The case is investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
