KUALA LUMPUR, September 10 — Camaroe Berhad, Sustainno and Huawei Malaysia have partnered to introduce renewable and smart energy technologies across Camaroe’s prawn aquaculture facilities.
The initiative will integrate Huawei’s commercial solar photovoltaic and energy storage systems to reduce reliance on non-renewable power, improve efficiency and manage operating costs.
Sustainno will oversee feasibility studies, system design, procurement, deployment and technical support, while Huawei will provide Digital Power technologies and expertise.
Camaroe managing director Teoh Han Boon said the partnership forms part of the company’s sustainable aquaculture transformation.
The collaboration also marks Huawei Malaysia’s first venture into the country’s agriculture sector.
