GEORGE TOWN, September 11 — A partial lane closure will be implemented along Jalan Magazine from Sept 14 to Oct 5 for construction works related to the Penang Mutiara Line LRT project.
The leftmost lane in front of St. Giles Wembley Hotel towards KOMTAR will close from 10 p.m. on Sept 14 until 5 a.m. on Oct 5, while other lanes remain open.
The 21-day closure will facilitate road widening and utility relocation works under the CMC1 package. Motorists are advised to follow traffic signs, with barriers, cones and flagmen deployed to manage traffic and road safety.
