CUPERTINO, September 12 — Apple has unveiled the Watch Series 12, introducing upgraded health monitoring, new intelligence features and faster charging.

Its Health Sensing System and S11 chip measure heart rate every five seconds and provide more frequent heart rate variability readings.

A new readiness feature combines activity, training load, sleep and health data into a daily score with recovery guidance. The watch offers up to 24 hours of battery life.

While a 15-minute charge provides up to 12 additional hours. Apple Intelligence also brings new Audio Intelligence and Siri AI features through watchOS 27. The Series 12 starts at US$399, with availability from Sept 18.
