GEORGE TOWN, September 14 — Intermittent partial lane closures will be implemented along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah from Sept 16 to Dec 15 for construction of Penang’s Mutiara Line LRT project.
The closures will operate between 8am and 4pm, affecting the leftmost lane from the Sunny Point junction towards the Universiti Sains Malaysia field in the KOMTAR direction.
The rightmost lanes near the USM field and Batu Uban Army Camp will also be affected in both directions. Other lanes will remain open.
The closures are required for drainage relocation and road widening works under the CMC1 package.
