KUCHING, September 18 — Sarawak Information Systems Sdn Bhd (SAINS) and Malaysian voice AI company 8nabler have signed an agreement to explore wider use of conversational AI across public services.
The partnership will test voice AI across SAINS-supported systems, with a focus on round-the-clock access for rural communities and people facing language or digital literacy barriers.
A two-month trial saw 8nabler’s technology independently handle 4,056 ICT support calls and automate 4,702 minutes of calls.
SAINS said the technology could handle routine enquiries while allowing human teams to focus on cases requiring judgement or follow-up.
