KUALA LUMPUR, September 18 — Tune Protect Group reported second-quarter profit after tax of RM6.4 million, up 66.5% from RM3.9 million in the previous quarter.

Insurance revenue increased 1.4% quarter-on-quarter to RM82 million, while investment income rose 21.5% to RM5.2 million. Non-travel gross written premiums grew 10.1% year-on-year.

Supported by motor insurance and broader partnerships. However, travel premiums declined 23.2% amid weaker demand and geopolitical uncertainty.

Tune Protect said it will continue expanding non-travel businesses while strengthening its regional travel distribution channels and maintaining disciplined underwriting.
