KUALA LUMPUR, September 19 — Pakatan Harapan’s Presidential Council has backed Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s position following the conditional royal pardon granted to former prime minister Najib Razak.
PH also supported the advice provided by the Attorney-General and Federal Territories Minister to the Pardons Board. The coalition stressed that no one is above the law.
And anyone convicted of an offence must serve punishment according to the law and Federal Constitution. PH said it would continue efforts to combat corruption.
Advance its reform agenda and address abuse of power. Najib was granted conditional clemency to serve his remaining SRC sentence under house arrest.
