PETALING JAYA, September 20 — Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh questioned why DAP deputy chairman Nga Kor Ming remained a minister after Anthony Loke announced his resignation.
Following Najib Razak’s conditional pardon. In a Facebook post, Akmal pointed to Nga’s earlier statement that he would resign as Housing and Local Government Minister if Najib were released from prison.
“Nga talked up a storm, but Loke took action,” Akmal wrote. Nga previously said his pledge concerned Najib’s release and was not tied to Barisan Nasional’s electoral performance.
Loke said Saturday he would resign as Transport Minister while other DAP ministers remain in government.
