SHAH ALAM, September 21 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he will meet Anthony Loke before deciding on his resignation as Transport Minister, with no formal letter submitted yet.

Anwar said Loke had informed him of his decision following Najib Razak’s conditional pardon but wanted to discuss the matter before handing over the letter.

He described Loke as a principled leader who has consistently opposed actions that could create the impression of being weak on corruption.

Anwar said both will travel separately to Shanghai before meeting, adding that the government would handle developments “one by one.”
