KUALA LUMPUR, September 24 — Sony has introduced the RM-DP7 and RM-DP5 external controllers, designed to simplify video production by combining camera control and monitoring in a single device.
Compatible initially with Sony’s FX5, FX3, FX2 and FX30 Cinema Line cameras, the controllers allow operators to remotely adjust focus, zoom and exposure settings.
Both feature high-brightness Full HD displays, physical controls, LUT support and professional-grade colour calibration. HDMI connectivity comes standard.
While selected wireless transmitters are supported. The RM-DP7 additionally offers 12G-SDI and SDI-HDMI conversion. Malaysian pricing and availability will be announced through authorised Sony dealers.
