ALOR SETAR, September 28 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said Budget 2027 is expected to increase allocations for small entrepreneurs as the government seeks to strengthen local businesses.
Anwar invited small traders in villages to help identify entrepreneurs who genuinely need assistance and have potential to expand. He said even small businesses can generate employment.
And additional income for local communities, while the Implementation Coordination Unit will determine how assistance is distributed.
Anwar said Malaysia would continue attracting major foreign investments in sectors including artificial intelligence, computing and semiconductors.
While ensuring economic development also supports small local businesses and creates better employment opportunities.
