SEREMBAN, September 28 — Police are investigating the death of a 14-year-old Form Two student at a Kuala Pilah sports school as murder after he was found unconscious at the hostel.
Negeri Sembilan police said a 16-year-old student has been detained to assist investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek ordered an immediate audit covering school safety, procedures and possible breaches, saying no wrongdoing would be protected.
The ministry will cooperate fully with police and provide counselling and psychological support to the victim’s family, students and school staff.
