KUALA LUMPUR, September 29 — Barisan Nasional chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi urged Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Ismail Lasim to seek an audience with Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir and the four Undangs.
To resolve the state’s constitutional crisis. Zahid said discussions should seek an amicable solution consistent with the state constitution and customary system.
He acknowledged Tuanku Muhriz’s revocation of 10 state executive councillors and said the administration must continue functioning for the people.
Zahid said he would meet Negeri Sembilan assemblymen from BN and Perikatan Nasional on Sunday night to discuss possible solutions, while stressing that he was not seeking to interfere in state administration.
