GEORGE TOWN, September 30 — Motorists can expect intermittent partial night lane closures along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah for 45 days as preliminary works for Penang’s Mutiara Line LRT continue.
The closures will run from Oct 1 to Nov 15 between 10pm and 5am, affecting sections between Sunny Point and the USM field.
Selected lanes near Jalan Sungai Dua, Batu Uban Army Camp and Sunny Point will be temporarily closed for tree cutting works.
Other lanes will remain open, while traffic signs, barriers, cones and flagmen will be deployed to guide motorists through affected areas.
