SINGAPORE, September 30 — Sepang Aircraft Engineering has secured a maintenance contract from Cebu Pacific covering seven Airbus A320 aircraft.
The Airbus-owned Malaysian company will conduct 12-year maintenance and end-of-lease checks at its Kuala Lumpur International Airport facility between 2027 and 2028.
SAE has previously provided Cebu Pacific with heavy maintenance, engine changes, aircraft skin panel replacement and end-of-lease services. It has also deployed engineers to Manila for on-site maintenance support.
SAE operates two hangars at KLIA covering about 50,000 square metres, with capacity to accommodate up to eight aircraft simultaneously for major maintenance checks.
