GEORGE TOWN, October 1 — Motorists can expect intermittent partial night lane closures along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah for 60 days as construction work continues on Penang’s Mutiara Line LRT.
The closures will run from 10pm to 5am between Oct 1 and Nov 30, affecting selected lanes around Lorong Sungai Dua 1, JPJ Batu Uban, Sunny Point and Persiaran Batu Uban.
The works involve tree cutting and transplanting under the Mutiara Line’s CMC1 package. Other lanes will remain open, with traffic signs, barriers, cones and flagmen deployed.
