KUALA LUMPUR, October 2 — Monthly Sumbangan Asas Rahmah assistance began being credited to eligible recipients through their MyKad on Thursday, the Finance Ministry said.
Households receiving Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah will receive RM100 monthly, while senior citizens and single recipients receive RM50. For recipients also registered under eKasih.
Households receive RM200, senior citizens RM150 and singles RM100 monthly. The assistance can be used for more than 140,000 essential items across 15 approved categories.
Including rice, eggs, cooking oil, medicines and school supplies. SARA is accepted at more than 14,700 participating supermarkets and grocery stores nationwide.
