GEORGE TOWN, October 2 — Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow is leading an eight-day investment and trade mission to the United States aimed at strengthening Penang’s ties.
With American investors and attracting new investments. Organised by InvestPenang, the Sept 28-Oct 5 mission seeks to encourage existing investors to expand their operations in the state.
During the first two days in San Jose, the delegation held strategic meetings and site visits with companies including Agilent, AMD, Cadence, Coherent and Intuitive.
The delegation will continue meeting corporate headquarters in San Jose, promoting Penang’s capabilities and opportunities for further investment.
