YONG PENG, October 4 — Police are investigating the death of 16-year-old student Irene Sofiya Mohd Khairoul Faisal as murder after she was found at a secondary school in Yong Peng, Johor.
Three 16-year-old male students have been detained in connection with the investigation. Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said the ministry would review school security, patrol procedures.
And attendance records for supplementary classes while cooperating fully with police. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim called for an immediate, thorough and transparent investigation.
