PUTRAJAYA, October 6 — Transport Minister Anthony Loke said MYEG and Zetrix AI services were suspended after RM314 million in government collections remained unpaid.
Loke said the arrears involved fees and summonses collected for JPJ since May, despite 35 notices and several engagement sessions. A RM231 million cheque submitted in August.
For payment on Sept 30 could not be processed after the bank received instructions from the company, he said. Loke said alleged political connections were irrelevant to the decision.
Stressing that all collection agents were subject to the same obligations. The suspension could be reconsidered once the outstanding amount is settled.
