KUALA LUMPUR, October 8 — Keretapi Sarong 2026 marked its 10th anniversary by bringing Malaysians together through public transport, traditional attire, music and cultural activities.

Held under the theme “Sayang Malaysia,” the celebration encouraged participants to connect with people from different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds.

In the Klang Valley, participants travelled from 12 stations before gathering at Raintree Plaza @ TRX, while community celebrations were held in several other cities.

This year also introduced a women-only starting point at Titiwangsa MRT station and “Joget Sarong,” the event’s first official theme song, performed by Aina Abdul and Didie Shazry.
