GEORGE TOWN, October 8 — The Aspen-Klippa Penang Bridge International Marathon 2026 has reopened limited Full Marathon registration until Oct 11 for runners affected by recent race disruptions.

Organising chairman Wong Hon Wai said the decision follows cancellations of the Kuching Marathon and PJ Half Marathon.

Alongside runners who did not start at the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon. With approximately 25,000 participants already registered.

The Half Marathon and 10km categories will remain closed. The event takes place on Dec 13 at Aspen Vision City, Batu Kawan, featuring the Penang Bridge route. Registration closes once the additional slots are filled.
