GEORGE TOWN, October 8 — PENS J Electronics will invest more than US$70 million in a new advanced semiconductor packaging materials and thermal management facility.
In Batu Kawan Industrial Park 3. The company signed a lease agreement with Penang Development Corporation, with production planned in two phases.

Phase One will focus on thermal interface materials before expanding into integrated heat spreaders in Phase Two. Founder Dr Fay Hua said the investment is expected to create more than 1,000 jobs.
Largely involving engineers, while the company plans to collaborate with local educational institutions on internships and graduate training.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the investment would strengthen Penang’s semiconductor ecosystem.
