GEORGE TOWN, October 11 — Award-winning Tang Mei Yun Taiwanese Opera Company is bringing The Princess and the Hunter to Penang’s Majestic Theatre on Oct 10 and 11.
As part of George Town Heritage Celebrations 2026. Hosted by George Town World Heritage Incorporated (GTWHI), the performances showcase traditional Taiwanese opera.
Through storytelling, music and theatrical movements. Each performance runs from 3pm to 4.50pm, followed by a complimentary 60-minute opera movement workshop.
Where ticket holders can experience traditional performance techniques. The production will be presented in Taiwanese Hokkien with Mandarin and English surtitles, with admission free for ticket holders.
