Summary
  • DAP lawmakers must meet strict performance targets.
  • Poor-performing representatives risk losing future candidacy.
  • Nationwide monitoring covers constituency service and party activities.

IPOH, October 19 — DAP elected representatives who fail to meet the party’s key performance indicators (KPIs) risk being dropped as candidates in future elections, secretary-general Anthony Loke said.

Speaking at the Perak DAP Convention, Loke said representatives must demonstrate integrity, discipline and commitment to serving their constituents.

He said the party’s nationwide monitoring system evaluates community service, constituency attendance, grassroots engagement and participation in party activities.

Loke added that state chapters may adopt their own evaluation methods, while representatives who consistently fail to meet expectations could be denied candidacy letters for the next election.
