KUALA LUMPUR, October 19 — Setel has introduced an AI-powered Voice Fuelling feature that allows motorists to activate fuel pumps using spoken commands. Available in beta.
The service supports Bahasa Melayu, English, Mandarin and Tamil and builds on Setel’s existing One-tap Fuelling system. Once enabled in the Setel app, users can state their pump number.
With the system processing payment according to their saved preferences. Setel said PETRONAS dealers and ground staff will help customers set up and use the feature.
The company said the multilingual system is intended to make digital fuelling more accessible, including for users less familiar with mobile apps.
