BAYAN LEPAS, October 20 — Queensbay Mall is celebrating Deepavali with its peacock-themed Wings of Light festival, running from Oct 15 to Nov 10.
The celebration features colourful decorations, traditional oil lamps and cultural performances by Arumugam Dance Academy on Oct 25, Oct 31 and Nov 1.
Families can also enjoy peacock keychain and rangoli art workshops on Nov 7, alongside a World Sight Day event organised with St. Nicholas’ Home.
The mall’s Central Atrium has been transformed with vibrant peacock-inspired displays, featuring colourful feathers, festive lighting and traditional Indian decorative elements.
The celebration aims to bring families and communities together while highlighting Indian cultural traditions through interactive activities and entertainment.
Shoppers spending RM288 can redeem festive Deepavali packets, while selected retail partners offer vouchers, food treats and other rewards, subject to availability.
