GEORGE TOWN, October 26 — A landslide buried two parked cars near the 33 Leisure Bay condominium in Tanjung Tokong, Penang, on Sunday evening, with no injuries reported.
The Penang Fire and Rescue Department said it received an emergency call at 6.50pm and arrived at the scene 10 minutes later.
A BMW and Honda City were buried by fallen earth, prompting firefighters and Mineral and Geoscience Department officers to inspect the area for possible ground movement.
Six firefighters from Bagan Jermal Fire Station secured the affected area with safety barriers before completing operations at 8.01pm.
