GEORGE TOWN, October 28 — Motorists travelling towards Komtar along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah will face a long-term lane diversion from November 3 until May 30, 2027.
The 209-day traffic arrangement will affect three Komtar-bound lanes near Cemerlang Driving Training Centre in Batu Uban.
The diversion is required for bored piling and permanent structure works under the Penang Mutiara Line LRT project. Traffic personnel, safety barriers and directional signs will be deployed.
Throughout the construction period. Motorists are advised to follow traffic instructions and allow additional travelling time.
