GEORGE TOWN, November 6 — Artist Thomas Powell is presenting his latest solo exhibition, Up In The Air, at Cultprint in George Town from Oct 17 to Dec 6.
Inspired by Malaysia’s recurring haze and concerns over El Niño, the exhibition explores environmental challenges, political uncertainty and economic pressures.
Through original artworks and mixed-media installations, Powell examines how human decisions, consumption and historical patterns shape the future.
The exhibition encourages visitors to reflect on sustainability, society’s dependence on natural systems and the choices needed to build a more resilient future.
