GEORGE TOWN, November 7 — Pantai Jerejak assemblyman Fahmi Zainol has questioned PKR’s disciplinary consistency following a police investigation involving another Penang lawmaker.

Fahmi was previously suspended from party positions and removed as a state executive councillor after being charged with voluntarily causing hurt to his wife, an allegation he contests.

Police confirmed that four individuals, including an assemblyman and his wife, had given statements in the latest investigation under Section 323 of the Penal Code, with no arrests reported.
