GOMBAK, November 7 — A landslide following heavy rain has forced the closure of a section of the Rawang-Kuala Selangor road (B27) after part of the road structure collapsed.
The Selangor Public Works Department (JKR) said Friday, the incident occurred at kilometre 9.90 around 11pm Thursday, involving slope failures that brought down trees and blocked traffic.

Authorities implemented a full road closure, installed temporary tarpaulin sheets to prevent further erosion and began clearing debris.
JKR said technical investigations were ongoing, while a diversion route for light vehicles would be considered subject to safety assessments.
