PUTRAJAYA, September 25 — The Registrar of Societies has suspended all Perikatan Nasional activities effective Sept 23 following a complaint lodged by component party Bersatu.
RoS said PN was issued a notice under the Societies Act and given a reasonable period to provide an explanation. The regulator stressed that the notice does not amount to a decision.
To deregister the opposition coalition. PN confirmed receiving the notices but disputed the basis of the action and said it was pursuing available legal avenues.
