KANGAR, October 2 — Tourism Malaysia is stepping up efforts to position Perlis as a destination for longer stays under the Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 campaign.
A four-day media programme showcased attractions including Gua Kelam, Wang Kelian Viewpoint, Kangar Heritage Walk and Padang Besar.
Participants also explored local food, handicrafts and community businesses as Tourism Malaysia promotes experiences beyond established tourist sites.
Perlis recorded 3.7 million domestic visitors in 2025, up from 3.2 million in 2024, with Tourism Malaysia seeking to build on that growth.
