PETALING JAYA, October 2 — The government is working to move business applications fully online and remove unnecessary procedures to reduce costs, delays and opportunities for corruption.

Federal Territories Minister Hannah Yeoh said. Yeoh said businesses should no longer need to repeatedly contact government officers for application updates as administrative systems are improved.

In Kuala Lumpur, eligible businesses can renew DBKL licences for up to three years, with discounts of 5% for two-year and 10% for three-year renewals.

Deposits for concerts and local shows have also been reduced by 70% as part of efforts to support the capital’s entertainment and events industry.
